This young, vivacious neighborhood had outgrown its moniker ‘Historic South End’ and needed a brand to reflect its transition to modernity. Working within the brand framework set out by Saturday, I made collateral that reflected the youthful trendiness the neighborhood exudes when you walk through it.

Small Biz Hero Card - a campaign launched during Small Business Saturdays to encourage consumers to shop at small local businesses. People who spent at least $10 at 5 local businesses could turn in their card for a South End branded shirt or tote bag.

South End Blooms was our response to desperately wanting to celebrate local artists but also not feeling like the time was right for a full-fledged festival. We created little pockets around South End where artists could ‘bloom’ and showcase their amazing talents. The poster has the South End brand color palette, but adopts a more playful/artistic aesthetic.

Splashes of brand colors all over the neighborhood in the form of little libraries, trash cans, and recycling containers went a long way towards bringing the brand to life.

Camden Commons is a South End event with the theme of being ‘your outdoor living room’. There are games, couches, lounge areas, food trucks, cafe tables, and puzzles. The only thing you need to bring from home are your own fuzzy slippers.
